What is Reclee

The whole journey, from job post to client report, on one page.

Updated on October 1, 2026

Reclee goes out and finds candidates for you. Tell it which role you need to fill: it finds profiles, ranks them by how well they match what the role asks for, and stays with you all the way to the report you hand your client.

This tutorial walks that path once, so you recognize each piece when you meet it in the app.

The journey

The client and their request

If you work at an agency, it all starts in the CRM. A company comes in as a lead and moves through the stages of the funnel until it asks you to fill a role. That ask is a request.

The CRM is optional: if you're hiring for your own company, start straight with the job post.

The job post

The job post is the role to fill. It holds the description, the conditions and three sets of criteria, one for each moment of the process. The conditions are the salary, the work arrangement and whatever else you offer.

What it saysWhen it's used
Sourcing criteriaWhat a profile has to show to be worth contactingWhile searching
Screening questionsWhat only the candidate knows, so you ask themWhen they reply
Evaluation criteriaWhat you assess after interviewing themAfter each interview

In sourcing criteria, order is weight: the first one counts the most. A criterion can also be a must-have: if a profile doesn't meet it, it's disqualified.

The job post also has an ideal profile, a portrait of who you're looking for. From it come the searches: the concrete queries sourcing runs.

Sourcing and the longlist

Sourcing goes out with those searches and scores every profile against your criteria. When it's done, it leaves a longlist: the profiles it found, ranked by Match score.

Each criterion gets one of four results:

What it means
Good fitClearly meets it
FitMeets it
Bad fitDoesn't meet it
No dataThe profile doesn't say enough to tell. It doesn't count against them: that criterion stays out of the score

Next to the Match score is the coverage: how much of your criteria could be checked. With too little, a profile doesn't qualify, however good it looks.

The longlist is frozen: a snapshot of that run, with the data from that moment. Run sourcing again and you get a new one. The profiles it brings stay in your talent pool, your team's own talent base, for the next job posts.

Quick search finds profiles from the chat, with no job post: handy to see who's out there before you set one up.

Reaching out

To write to someone on the longlist, first you find their contact info: you get their email or phone, paid with credits. The messages you send before they reply are the outreach.

When the candidate replies, they move to Screening, where the screening questions confirm what the profile didn't say.

The pipeline

Each person in a job post is a candidate, and they all move through the same pipeline stages:

Sourced → Screening → Interview → Shortlist → Hired

Longlist profiles come in as Sourced, because they haven't replied yet. People who apply from your careers page go straight to Screening: they already answered the screening questions when they applied, and Reclee scores them against the same sourcing criteria. If an answer fails a must-have question, they're disqualified.

The stage says where the candidate is in the process, not what you're doing with them. That's what labels are for: they mark the candidate within that job post.

Interviews and evaluation

Each interview has its questions, and Reclee suggests them. Paste the interview transcript and it suggests the answers for you to confirm.

Then comes the evaluation: the scorecard, which scores against the evaluation criteria, and considerations, unscored notes your client will also see.

The client report

Once the evaluation is done, Reclee builds each candidate's report: the deliverable for your client. When you have candidates in Shortlist, you share them with a shortlist link: a page with each one and their report, which the client opens without an account.

All of this, from the chat too

The app opens on Ask Reclee, Reclee's chat. You can ask it for any step of the journey: to build the job post, run sourcing, move a candidate or tell you how a job post is going. Nothing the AI writes is confirmed on its own: you review it.

The sidebar has two modes: App, with each section, and Chat, with your conversations.

To get started

Tell Reclee which role you need to fill. It builds the job post with its criteria, and you review it step by step.
