The client report

What a candidate needs before they get a report, how it's generated and how you share the shortlist with your client.

The report is each candidate's deliverable: what your client reads to decide who to move forward with. In Reclee you don't write it separately. It's assembled from what your team already evaluated and confirmed, and then it's frozen.

Before you generate it

A candidate needs three things. The Report tab in their profile tells you which ones are missing.

What it needsWhere you do it
An interview with its transcriptInterviews tab
Every evaluation criterion scoredEvaluation tab, in the scorecard
The considerations reviewed: each one confirmed or dismissedEvaluation tab

A consideration you write by hand also waits for review. Confirm it so it reaches the report.

The first paragraph your client reads is the recommendation rationale, in the Evaluation tab. Write it before generating, because the report freezes whatever is there at that moment. Draft with AI suggests a draft from what you evaluated, and you edit it.

Generate it

Open the Report tab

In the candidate's profile, go to Report. If something's missing, you see what it is and a Go to Evaluation button.

Tap Generate report

Once the three conditions are met, the button turns on. Generating doesn't spend AI usage.

You get a frozen version

The report is saved as Version 1, with its date. If you later change the scorecard, the considerations or the rationale, generate a new version: neither the report nor the link change on their own.

What's in it

BlockWhere it comes from
RecommendationThe verdict comes from the scorecard result against the job post's recommendation threshold: Strongly recommended, Recommended, Recommended with reservations or Not recommended. Your rationale goes below it
RequirementsEach sourcing criterion, as pass or fail, based on what was found in the profile. If the profile didn't say, it shows as answered in interview when there's a confirmed answer, or unresolved
EvaluationThe scorecard, with the comments and the quotes from the interview
ProfileThe candidate's profile at the moment you generated it
ConsiderationsOnly the confirmed ones
ConditionsThe job post conditions that have a value

If a candidate fails a criterion, the report says so: they're presented with those exceptions. To explain to your client why you're presenting them anyway, write a Requirement exception consideration.

Move them to Shortlist

A candidate can only enter Shortlist with their report generated. Without it, the pipeline won't let you move them and tells you what's missing.

It's the only screen your client sees: a page with your candidates and their reports, which they open without an account.

Open the job post settings

In the ATS, from the … menu, go to Configure job post and then to the Shortlist link section.

Tap Generate link. If the shortlist is empty, if someone has no report or if someone falls below the threshold, a warning tells you. It doesn't stop you, but check it before sending anything.

Decide what it shows

Show contact details starts off: turned on, your client sees each candidate's email and phone. An empty Expiry means the link never expires.

Share it

Copy the link from there, or with Share shortlist in the ATS, and send it to your client. Reclee doesn't send it for you.

Who shows up

Someone shows up when all three are true:

  • They're in Shortlist or Hired.
  • Their report is generated.
  • Their verdict is Strongly recommended or Recommended. Recommended with reservations is left out.

Your client always sees the latest version of each report. Revoke cuts the link instantly and for good: the new one has a different address, and you have to send it again.

What your client sees

  • The job post and its candidates, ranked from highest to lowest result, each with their verdict and View report.
  • Each one's full report, which they can download as a PDF.
  • The page is in the job post's language.
  • They can't comment or pick anyone: if they want to move forward with someone, they tell you outside Reclee.

When they open it, the job post's subscribers get a notification.

To get started

Open a candidate whose interview and scorecard are ready, and generate their report.
