Job post settings
Everything that defines a job post, its status, how it's published and the shortlist link for the client.
The last entry of the job post in the sidebar: everything that defines the job post, on a single page. You also get there with Edit job post from the list or with Job post settings from the Overview.
Everyone sees it. The Owner, Recruiters and Collaborators change things, on any plan.
The sections
On wide screens, an index on the side takes you to each section. Some are saved with their button and others right away.
| Section | What it has | How it saves |
|---|---|---|
| Job data | Title, client, status, level, employment type, work mode, location, positions, start and assignee | With its button |
| Job post content | The description, the responsibilities and how the company presents itself | With its button |
| Compensation | The salary range, whether the careers page shows it, the bonus and the benefits | With its button |
| Screening questions | What applicants are asked. See Screening and interviews | Right away |
| Sourcing criteria | What sourcing reads in each profile. Order is weight: the first one counts the most | Right away |
| Evaluation criteria | What you assess after each interview | Right away |
| Conditions | The fields for the role's conditions | Right away |
| Stages | The stages of the job post's process | Right away |
| Recommendation threshold | From which scorecard score a candidate is recommended. It starts at 3.5 | Right away |
| Publication | How it shows on your careers page | Right away |
| Shortlist link | The link you share with the client | Right away |
| Delete job post | Deletes a draft | With confirmation |
The status
The status is changed in Job data and saved with its button.
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Draft | Still being built. It isn't published and sourcing doesn't run |
| Active | Being worked on. It can be published and sourcing can run |
| Paused | On hold for a while. If it was published, it stays on the careers page, but takes no applications |
| Closed | It's over |
To activate it, the job post needs the description, the level, the employment type, the work mode and the country, plus the city if it isn't remote. A job post linked to a client request that is still open can't be closed: it closes when the request does.
The client
The Client field, in Job data, links the job post to a CRM request. It offers the open or in-progress requests that don't have a job post yet, and each request goes with only one. See Requests.
Publication
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Publish on the career site | The job post shows on your careers page while it's active or paused |
| Show the client | Shows the client's name on the role. Otherwise it says Confidential client |
| Show the applicant count | Shows how many people applied |
| Content language | Which language the role and its form are in |
| When the Match score runs | Whether it's calculated automatically when someone applies, or when a new CV arrives. Someone with a seat picks the automatic options |
Showing the salary range is chosen in Compensation.
The shortlist link
The only screen of the job post the client sees, with no account. How to use it, step by step, is in The client report.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Generate link | Creates the job post's link |
| Copy | Copies the link to send to the client |
| Revoke | Turns it off right away, without asking for confirmation. Whoever has it can't get in anymore |
| Show contact details | Shows the client the candidates' email and phone |
| Expiry | A date when the link stops working. Empty, it never expires |
Under the link you see when it was generated and the last time the client opened it. If there are candidates in Shortlist without a report, or none in Shortlist, it tells you.
To get started
Open your job posts, pick one and go to its settings.
