Activity
A candidate's history in a job post, what Reclee logs on its own and where to see what happened in other job posts.
In Spanish: Actividad.
What it is
A candidate's activity is their history in a job post, oldest to newest: what happened and what the team wrote. It has two parts:
| What it is | |
|---|---|
| What Reclee logs | Each thing that happens, with who and when: they entered the pipeline, changed stage, were disqualified, an interview was scheduled, the transcript was pasted, a criterion was scored, the report was generated, they were presented to the client |
| Comments | What the team writes, with replies and feedback |
What it's for
Knowing what happened with someone without asking anyone: who moved them, when, why they were disqualified, what the team thought at each stage.
Where you see it
In the candidate's Activity tab, in the ATS. It's grouped by stage and by day, and filtered between All, Comments and System. The box to write in is at the bottom.
What happened with the person in other job posts shows on their profile in the talent pool: the Job posts tab shows each one with what happened there, and at the top it says where they came in and who brought them.
What it gets mixed up with
| Mixed up with | The difference |
|---|---|
| A comment | It's one part of the activity: the part someone writes. See Tag, label, note and comment |
| A note | A note belongs to the person or the job post, and isn't tied to a stage. It has its own tab |
| A company's activity, in the CRM | It's the calls, emails, meetings and notes with a client, and its stage changes. See Lead and funnel |
Why it works this way
It reads top to bottom, like a conversation, with the box to write at the end. The last thing that happened stays right next to what you're about to write.
Reclee logs it on its own so nobody has to remember to write it down. A record that depends on someone writing always ends up with gaps.
It belongs to the job post. What happens in one search doesn't mix with another: that's why each job post has its own activity, and the person's profile brings them together.
