AI usage and credits
What your plan's AI spends, how it's measured, team usage, the 5-hour limit and what credits are for.
In Spanish: Uso de IA, Uso del equipo, Límite de 5 horas and Créditos.
What it is
Reclee charges for two things separately: AI usage, which pays for the work the AI does, and credits, which pay for contact info.
| What it is | How you see it | |
|---|---|---|
| AI usage | What your plan's AI can do in the month | As a percentage of the month |
| Team usage | A separate pool for people without a seat | As a percentage of the month |
| 5-hour limit | A cap per person, so nobody spends the month in an afternoon | It only shows when you hit it, with the time it comes back |
| Credits | What you spend when you look up an email or phone | In units |
What it's for
| Spends AI usage | Free |
|---|---|
| Running sourcing: searching, enriching and scoring each profile | The ATS: moving candidates, interviewing, evaluating, generating the report |
| Each page of a quick search | The CRM |
| Enriching a profile | The careers page |
| The Match score of ATS candidates | Creating job posts, setting criteria, writing notes |
| Ask Reclee and the buttons that generate with AI | Reading anything |
| Reading a CV you upload |
Ask Reclee and what's generated with AI come out of the plan's usage if you have a seat and the workspace is on a paid plan. If you're a Collaborator or Viewer, or the workspace is on Free, they come out of team usage. Sourcing and the Match score never come out of team usage.
Where you see it
| Where | What you see |
|---|---|
| Under whatever spends, like the chat or sourcing | A line from 80% of the month: how much you've used and when it comes back in full |
| Billing | The month's AI usage and team usage, and the plan's and purchased credits. The Owner sees it |
| When you hit a limit | A notice saying what stopped, when it comes back and what you can do |
| Plan | Monthly AI usage | Credits |
|---|---|---|
| Free | None: only team usage | 0 |
| Trial | A month of Starter's, for 14 days | 300 |
| Starter | Enough for about 1,200 profiles reviewed with AI, for the whole workspace | 300 for the workspace |
| Pro | Enough for about 3,000 profiles reviewed with AI per recruiter | 3,000 per recruiter |
What it gets mixed up with
| Mixed up with | The difference |
|---|---|
| AI usage and credits | Usage pays for the AI and renews every month. Credits pay for contact info, and purchased ones don't expire. When the month's usage runs out, the AI keeps spending from purchased credits |
| AI usage and team usage | AI usage belongs to the people who search. Team usage is for Collaborators, Viewers and, on Free, everyone. Purchased credits don't stretch it |
| The 5-hour limit and the month | The month belongs to the workspace. The 5 hours belong to each person |
Why it works this way
As a percentage, not in money or units. No action has a fixed cost: a message that only reads spends far less than one that builds a longlist. What's useful is knowing how much you have left.
Team usage is separate because Collaborators and Viewers don't take a seat and are unlimited. If they spent from the same usage, anyone could eat up the month of the people who search.
The 5-hour limit stops spending little by little without a break, not big work: a sourcing run that already started isn't cut by it.
Contact info is only paid for if it turns up. If the provider doesn't have the email or phone, nothing is charged.
How it's calculated
| What | How |
|---|---|
| The month | It renews every month from when the subscription started, on the yearly plan too |
| The 5-hour limit | It starts with the first thing you spend, lasts 5 hours and comes back in full when it ends. It's only checked when something starts: a message, a run, a page |
| A contact detail | Work email, 10 credits. Personal email, 30. Phone, 100. The plan's credits go first, then the purchased ones |
| The plan's credits | They renew each cycle and don't carry over |
When the month's usage runs out, whatever is running pauses and isn't lost: it continues when usage comes back, or sooner, with credits. Credit packs are bought by the Owner in Billing.
