Request
A role a client asks you to fill, its statuses, its fee and how what it's worth is calculated.
In Spanish: Pedido. With it come the fee, the estimated value (valor estimado) and the billed amount (facturado).
What it is
A request is a concrete role a CRM client asks you to fill: the role, the positions, the salary and how it's charged. A company can have many requests, and each request is worked in a job post.
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Open | The client asked for it and it hasn't started yet |
| In course | It's being searched |
| Closed | It's over |
| Cancelled | The client backed out |
What it's for
Knowing what you have in hand is worth. The request adds its value to the company's in the funnel, and ties the sales side to the search: the job post says how it's going, and the request, what it's worth.
Where you see it
In Requests, on each company's profile in the Funnel, and in the job post that works it, in the Client field.
What it gets mixed up with
| Mixed up with | The difference |
|---|---|
| The job post | The job post is how you search: the criteria, the candidates, the report. The request is what the client ordered, with what it's worth. See Job post |
| The lead | The lead is the company. A client company that asks again isn't a new lead: it's a new request. See Lead and funnel |
Why it works this way
Each request goes with a single job post, and the job post doesn't close while its request is still open. That way, what was sold and what's being searched don't drift apart.
The value is a range because the salary is. Showing a single number would invent a precision the request doesn't have.
How it's calculated
| Number | How |
|---|---|
| Estimated value, with a percentage fee | Yearly salary × fee × positions, once with the low end of the range and once with the high end |
| Estimated value, with a fixed fee | The amount × the positions |
| Yearly salary | If it's monthly, × 12. If it's hourly, × 2,080 |
| A company's pipeline value | The sum of its open and in-course requests |
| A company's billed amount | The sum of each hire's fee, on the agreed salary |
Example: a request for 2 positions, with a salary of 3,000 to 4,000 a month and a 15% fee. The yearly salary goes from 36,000 to 48,000, so the estimated value is 10,800 to 14,400.
A new request's fee starts with the company's default fee, which is 15% unless you change it.
